Where can Visitor Video Hotel TV Channels be seen?
Our in-room channels are seen in the guest rooms of partner hotels and resorts on four islands in Hawaii. There are a total of 30 channels.
Who produces the channel content?
Visitor Video produces the channel content. We work closely with the host hotel’s sales and marketing team to insure that the channels are on message and on brand.
How much does it cost to provide a hotel TV channel?
It costs the hotel nothing for its channel production. The channels are supported by advertising. Our channels are the exclusive locally-produced guest information channels in our host hotels.
Who owns the channels?
Visitor Video owns the channels. But our partner hotels have total access to the footage for other use. Our creative services are available to help with the re-use of channel content.
How are the channels distributed?
We provide a digital player, which feeds the channels into our partner hotel’s television system. Working with the hotel’s engineering and IT departments, we insure a smooth delivery of our channels in high definition video.
Is there a digital version of the channels?
We can develop digital delivery of the channels to your guests’ hand-held devices, as well as on-line access for pre-arrival and post-arrival. We will customize these functions to meet your needs.
Are channels available in other languages?
We now deliver channels in English, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese so guests can be welcomed in their native language.
Do you have any other hotel TV channels?
Yes, we produce and distribute Oahu’s largest visitor TV network seen in guest rooms in more than 45 hotels and resorts on Oahu. It’s our popular Real Hawaii TV channel. It focuses on the leisure lifestyle of Oahu.
Can our channel be “private label” – seen only on our property?
Yes! Your channel is exclusive to your property. It’s a private line to your guests. We are telling your story and it will be seen only by your guests.
Do you provide in-room print publications?
We do not provide in-room publications. But we believe that print, television and digital media should be integrated for successful messaging to guests. We will be pleased to coordinate with your in-room publisher, or to recommend one.
